I wish my first post being a new member in the guild and on these forums would've been a bit more jolly in nature, but. Oh well.

To keep this short and to avoid it becoming a wall of whining, I'll just say that I've had little interest in WoW lately. Spent so much time playing the game already that I feel like I've seen pretty all of it, in all aspects of the game. Real-life has had its effects too, been somewhat stressful. Little money, no income, unable to get a job and all that for months. You get the picture. Can't live on parents' charity forever.

So in order to save money and hopefully recharge my interest in the game, I'm taking a break from WoW in August. Why in August and not now?

I've finally managed to get a place to study at. Studies to be a janitor. A little foundation to build on for future plans. So, studies will keep me busy.

August also happens to be the month when Guild Wars 2 will be released, on the 28th. If you haven't heard, it's a subscription-free MMORPG. I've been reading about the game from its website and been to beta testing and I must say it feels "threateningly" promising. So I'll be playing that.

I know this sounds awfully foreboding but depending on how successful and flourishing the RP community in GW2 will be(already has a website with over 1300 members) and how entertaining the game is gameplay-wise, my break may last anywhere from weeks to being permanent. I'll be back for sure to try out MoP at least, but I'm not sure if it will make WoW more interesting for me. Maybe for a little while at least.

But yeah, just a little heads-up.
