As some of you may know in Cataclysm i will be makeing a worgen guild/pack and i would be greatful if thoughs of you who would like too join would like to throw some ideas at me to make a solid guild with some real bite to it (( im sorry i just had too xD ))

the following are ideas so feel free to comment good/bad things, and your own ideas which you think may be appropriate to the guild Smile

ranking system:

Alpha
Alpha mate
Head hunter
Head scout
Hunter
Scout
New pup ( for jokes )

the most important thing we need is a guild/pack NAME and a HQ so any suggestions would be perfect.

So yes thats about it, pathetic i know seeing as how close it is to cata. But feel free to throw in ideas!

PLEASE NOTE THAT THE GUILD WILL NOT BE INSTANTLY SET UP IT WILL TAKE SOME TIME TO GET USED TO ALL THE NEW GUILD SETTINGS AND SO ON BUT I LOOK FORWARD TO IT!

I disagree Janah,

First thing to have clear is the guild`s concept. When we have a clear idea about what the guild is about, can we start to fill in the rest, such as ranks, name and HQ.

I`ve thought up a few concepts for the pack, choose the one you prefer:


Bound by Rage

A more feral approach is that whilst we were mindless animals, we were a pack. And with the mass distribution of the control cure, we woke up in the same clearing. We each went our seperate ways...

...But the beasts within us long for his/her packmates, so we are continueously drawn back to one anoher.


Druids of the Paw

Basically it is a Druidic sect. (Think Night Elves in Human form) that strives to maintain the natural balance in the Kingdoms. But since their guiding spirit is a wolf, they have a different view on the Balance then druids (and of course they are Human,meaning they`ll prefer direct action above year long discussions)

The Neighbours

Alternatively we can be normal, everyday Gilneans from the same neighbourhood, that have banded together to deal with the beast within.


For Science!

Another concept is that we`re a group of mage/scientists and helpers trying to remove the beast entirely (probably against the King`s orders)


So what now?

We Worgens decide which concept we like best,by replying and stating your favourite.

Sounds fun Janah.

I will create a worgen rogue. Probably quite fast after the realese. But i dont think he/she will be a priority in the beginning. So if it will take time to put up the guild, i can wait. Just tell us when you are ready to go. Smile

I think HQ can be talked about after patch 4.03a. When we all see how it looks in different zones.
A couple of suggestions for guild names are "Of wolf and man" and "The struggle within". I dont think they work as pack name tho.
(yes, i like Metallica Smile )

I wont vote on a concept right now. Will wait to see if ppl comes up with more options first.

Sounds good, yeah.

But I agree with Enlil that the concept can't be found at the moment. Since I would say that we should wait and do the lore for the Worgens.

Well, now that cata is out, and the charter has been transformed into a guild, we can start discussing and thinking about the guild.

I`ve done a bit of research and found a tabletop RPG completely about Werewolves. Methinks that the tribes described therein is a nice template for many a Worgen.

White Wolf is renowned for making very IC RPGs, based on creating a fun and solid character.
